Because it was built upon the West’s original canon, the Jewish-Christian Bible. The counterfeit (Humanist) canon of Great Books of Western Civilization amputated the West’s soul climaxing in Nihilism — The Closing of the Western Mind, The Abolition of Man, morality and meaning.

The Book that Created the Modern West

Culture is externalization of inner ideas. Western civilization is the flowering of the Seed — the ideas, the Word — that the Bible planted in Europe and North America. It enabled the West’s amazing development that harnessed the energies of the human mind, heart, sex, nature and community.

How can a bunch of illiterate, powerless slaves become a free and self-governing nation — a light to other nations? Can a corrupt and oppressive regime become a kingdom of justice and righteousness? What made the Gospel, the source of West’s optimism?

Pessimism and escapism have become two defining features of the North American Church. Nevertheless, the Church still has the capacity to disciple Canada by retaking its ministry to educate nations in order to fill the earth with the knowledge of Truth.
